Gifts and cards

Aprons are handmade in 100% cotton. An ideal, fun gift for men and women who like cooking.

Embroidered cards are by Calcutta Rescue who support medical care for the urban destitute of Kolkata and the rural poor from outlying areas. These cards are £1.20 each and we’ve photographed them on the range of background colours available so please specify what colour you’d like.

Printed cards are from original paintings by Silence, India and Hands of Hope, Kenya. They’re printed here on recycled card + recycled envelopes and are A6 size. They come in a clear sleeve. If you prefer them without this, please let us know. If you’d like an assortment, or to choose specific cards from the group photos, please email or phone us. They’re 80p each.

Crochet toys vary in size from the octopus at 4.5 cms high, to the dog rattle at 16 cms and the cat, rabbit and unicorn toys at 30 cms long. All beautifully handmade and Fair Trade in cotton.

Glove puppets are ideal for entertaining kids and they’re made of cotton by Suryamukhi Handicrafts, Nepal, a WFTO group that support kids.
